Christmas & New Years!

You probably saw pictures of our Christmas morning on Lexi's blog. At 12:30 I went to babysit the Miura kids, because S. Miura was having her sesection(spell?). We played outside with a ball, went inside and played Cheat, old maid, and old gramps. We played hide-and-go-seek around their house, but that became tiring, so we played tag outside, and seeing Shou-shou's friends playing dodgeball, we decided to join them.(Sarasa(girl) is 10, and Shoushou(boy) (aka Shoutarou) is 8). Sadly, I looked like a pathetic looser, embarsing Shou-shou, because I just couldn't catch the ball! No matter how hard I tried. Then Shou-shou accidently hit me in the face. It took a while for it to stop stinging. The baby was successfully born at 2:?? pm. They were able to go see him at the hospital at 4pm, after washing their hands, faces, and changed their clothes. They named him Hiroki after B. Miura. The past couple days we've been playing lots of games we got for Christmas, such as, Battleship(Pirates of the Caribbean version!!), Mastermind(Don't play it with my mom!), Imagine iff, Risk, and Noah's tacoyaki game. On New Years Eve, we got home early from church(which Lexi and Mom didn't attend), we played lots of games with Mia and Noah, had a traditional cheese fondue dinner, sent Mia and Noah to bed, played Mastermind with mom, played Risk with Mom and Dad, Imagine iff with Mom and Lexi, watched a count down on Disney Channel, watched the Disney Land fireworks, talked with Mom, Dad, and Lexi for a bit, got ready for bed, and went to bed quite content. I woke up at 10:20 and corn flakes for breakfast. I took Mia and Noah to the park for about an hour, came home, ate ramen for lunch, and while my parents went on a date to Monsoon Cafe for lunch, Lexi and I watched a movie on Disney Channel. When they came home, we we watched Praise to The Man but Noah wouldn't let me watch the touching end, because he kept asking for candy canes. Annoying! I made mochi treats(yum yum) for dinner tonight, so we had a true Japanese New Years, and Daddy made apple crisp for desert, even though we don't need anymore deserts. haha
